TNSG offers performance enhancing trainings virtually (at this time) to boards on the following themes:
Roles and Responsibilities; CEO/Board Chair relationship; Oversight and goal setting; Decision making; and Fiduciary duties.
Priority policy areas; Conflicts of interest explored; Boundaries; Accountability through board agreements.
Options for board member involvement; Introduction to the donor engagement cycle; Prospecting activities and recommendations; Messaging.
Board composition; Recruitment and onboarding; Streamlined board operations; Dealing with a crisis; Board self-assessment.
The Nonprofit Strategy Group also will develop a training specific to the unique needs of your board. These tend to be more in-depth, higher-level training that also generate dialogue among board members in exploring a particular issue. TNSG will typically survey board members anonymously ahead of the training to gain initial data, and provide a written report after the training summarizing key-discussion points, and provide recommendations, training materials, and other pertinent resources.
Schedule a free consultation with Richard and Amanda to discuss and explore your board training needs.
